SUPRO organized a National Sharing Meeting of Social Audit Findings on the Situation of Primary Education on 27 March 2014 at IDB Bhaban, Agargaon at 3:00pm. SUPRO district secretary, district campaign facilitators, representatives of NGOs, CSOs, Media people and different stakeholders took part in the sharing meeting. Professor of Dhaka University Dr. Zia Rahman was the chief discussion in the meeting. Finding of primary education situation was presented by SUPRO Coordinator Md. Shariful Islam. General Secretary of SUPRO Md. Arifur Rahman welcomed all where Vice-Chair of SUPRO Ahmed mahmud Swapan moderated the Meeting.
The speakers in a seminar expressed that the government should improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery in education and health sectors and made some recommendations on that regard. SUPRO organized the sharing seminar to present the findings of Social Audit on government primary education and health services today, 20 March 2012 in the VIP Lounge of the national Press Club. The Social Audit was conducted in 20 districts to understand the quality and efficiency of service delivery, to identify gaps and to elicit recommendations for improvement of services.
Sushasoner Jonny Procharavizan-SUPRO organized a national level seminar on 19 April, 2011 at CIRDAP Auditorium, Dhaka on the Findings of Social Audit of 20 districts on Health and Education Situation in Bangladesh.
Representatives of 45 networking districts of SUPRO, civil society organizations, Members of Parliament, Policy makers, Politicians, Journalists and other related stakeholders participated in the seminar where SUPRO national council member Madhab Chandra Dutta was as moderator and Shamima Akter Moonmoon delivered welcome speech. Uma Chowdhury, Director SUPRO gave the vote of thanks to all the participants in the seminar.
